Hi hope your son is ok after his cyro, my son is 4 and was diagnosed last year we are in the uk, he has had lasering to stop the leakages which has worked but has not regained any vision in his right eye, and they have said there is nothing else they can do apart from monitor him every 6 months to stop any future leakages! The damage was to far spread to regain any vision back, it is so hard to know what to ask the consultants it is such a shock to begin with, we are a year down the road and our son is due to start school, we are now trying to get him some polycarbonate safety glassses to wear for sports to protect his good eye as he has already had a black eye on good eye, he is such a full on boy! You would never know he only has one good eye as the consultant said the brain switches over to the good eye and being so young will not notice any different! wishing you and your son the best of luck... Claire, it really difficult we don't know the vision in my son's non coat's eye as of yet. At our last visit I felt like the doctor was being secretive with the information about the EUA they did. All of this is very difficult but I know we will be fine. Glad to hear your son is doing well an adapting.
