My name is Natalia Sileno, at age 24 (2004) I was diagnosed with Coates disease, since then I have had basic laser, endocryotherapy, retina detachment and a lense replacement; however still have my sight, of which slow improvement has happened.
The doctor I have worked with has been really good, and is worth contacting for further information, Dr Nutt at Linksfield Clinic in Johannesburgh, South Africa, has helped me not only to save my eye, but slowly regain as much sight as possible, from the damage it has undergone.
I would highly recommend him and contact him, with regards to any queries you do have on Coates.
